This is the amusing moment a food vendor enthusiastically chopped coconuts in Thailand.

Holidaymakers were entertained by the seller's playful antics as she prepared drinks near the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi on March 15.

Footage captured by Reda Thanika Lasut shows the worker removing the husks from the coconuts using a butcher's knife while dramatically moaning with each strike.

She also engaged in lively conversations with her customers, making the stall an entertaining spot as they waited for their beverages.

Thanika said: 'I visited the province and decided to film at the famous Railway Bridge over the River Kwai. It was a hot day, and we were thirsty, so we bought drinks from her. She was very entertaining.'
