On the morning of March 25 in Feidong County, Anhui Province, Mr. Cui Chenlong and his wife were driving along Longquan Road when they suddenly spotted a young child running against traffic in the fast lane ahead. Vehicles were speeding past the child, creating a highly dangerous situation.

Upon seeing this, Mr. Cui immediately stopped his car in the left lane, turned on his hazard lights, and used the vehicle as a barrier to block oncoming traffic. His wife quickly got out of the car, ran towards the confused child, and carried him back to their vehicle—all within just 10 seconds.

After rescuing the child, the couple asked him about his home address and family members, but due to his young age and limited speech abilities, he was unable to provide any useful information. They decided to drive him to the nearby Dianbu Police Station of the Feidong County Public Security Bureau.

The on-duty officers quickly began searching for the child's family. Through surveillance footage and investigation, they were able to contact his grandmother.

Shortly after, the visibly anxious grandmother arrived at the police station. Upon seeing her grandson safe and sound, she repeatedly thanked both the police and the couple. She tearfully admitted, "I was careless and had no idea my grandson had wandered off. When I realised he was missing, I was terrified. Without your help, I can't even imagine what could have happened!"
