US, Los Angeles: Chinatown LAPD Involved Crash

Los Angeles, United States - April 02, 2025 04/02/2025 01:30 am (GMT-0700) CHINATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department officers were managing traffic control near the intersection of Cesar Chavez Avenue and Bunker Hill Avenue for a separate crash when a woman driving a Nissan collided with their patrol car. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the collision. In response to the crash, officers requested assistance from an LAPD Central Traffic Division unit to conduct a thorough investigation. Officers evaluated the woman for signs of driving under the influence, but it appears she was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Central Traffic Division is currently handling the investigation.
