This is the amusing moment a tourist jumped into a lagoon and belly-flopped into the water.

Rose Silvestre, 25, said it was her first time trying canyoneering and was overwhelmed by the height in Cebu, the Philippines.

Footage shows Rose wearing a helmet and life vest while being guided on a rocky cliff.

She let out a scream before she leapt into the lagoon and landed flat on her stomach with a loud splash.

Rose said: 'It was my first time doing a canyoneering activity. I got nervous and my knees were shaking.

'I could not put myself to jump because I was trembling so I asked the tour guide to push me, and he did.

'I had a bad fall but I recovered quickly and was able to jump on the next cliffs.'
