VARIOUS OF MOROCCANS GATHER IN RABAT DESPITE RAINY WEATHER TO PROTEST AGAINST ISRAELI OFFENSIVE IN GAZA BY HOLDING PALESTINIAN AND MOROCCAN FLAGS, BANNERS, SHOUTING SLOGANS, GIVING SPEECHESRABAT, MOROCCO - APRIL 13, 2025: Thousands of Moroccans marched through the capital Rabat on Sunday, April 13, to protest Israel’s ongoing offensive in Gaza, despite heavy rainfall. The demonstration, called by the National Action Group for Palestine, began at Bab El-Had Square and proceeded toward the Moroccan Parliament. Political parties, labor unions, and civil society organizations supported the rally. Participants carried banners condemning Israel's offensive in Gaza and denouncing normalization with Israel. Protesters also expressed support for the Palestinian resistance and burned an Israeli flag as they reached Parliament Square. The march lasted hours under pouring rain, as demonstrators called for justice and expressed solidarity with Palestinians. More than 50,900 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
