Beginner surfer crashes into a man on the beach
This is the shocking moment a beginner surfer crashed into a man who was trying to catch a wave.
April Anne Ibarra was practising when she accidentally struck the beachgoer on the head in La Union, the Philippines, on April 14.
She can be seen riding a wave toward the shore as the lad stretches out his arms in an attempt to shield himself from the oncoming board.
However, the impact was forceful, knocking him underwater as April screamed in panic, fearing she had hurt him.
The fellow surfer was unhurt and picked himself up before April apologised for the extreme sports fail.
