On the evening of April 19 in Dongguan, Guangdong, a 3-year-old child was seen stumbling alone across a busy road, wandering into traffic.

In the dark, with cars passing by, the little boy was in immediate danger. Fortunately, Mr. Jian, who was driving by, noticed the situation, stopped his vehicle immediately, and rushed to carry the child back to the sidewalk.

Holding the child, Mr. Jian stood at the entrance of a nearby park and loudly called out for the child’s guardian. About three minutes later, an elderly woman came running from the park and was confirmed to be the boy’s grandmother — she had been frantically searching for her missing grandson.

It turned out she had been too focused on watching a public square dance and had lost track of the boy. Mr. Jian handed the child over to her and reminded her to be more mindful of the boy’s safety to prevent such incidents in the future.
