Tank bursts sending nearly 200,000 fish swarming across shop floor in China
On April 27, in Fuyang, Anhui Province, a fish shop's loach tank suddenly burst, releasing nearly 200,000 loaches that swarmed and covered the entire room.
The shop owner, Mr. Jiang, explained that over 1,000 jin (approximately 500 kilograms) of loaches escaped. It took six or seven people almost five hours to clean up, resulting in a loss of over 1,000 yuan (around £110). The tank reportedly made a loud noise when it burst, and Mr. Jiang suspects it was due to either poor tank quality or excessive water pressure.
