On April 23, in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, during peak traffic hours at a busy intersection, an elderly man using a walking frame was unable to cross the street in time after the light turned green due to his slow pace.

A female driver of a white car noticed the situation, immediately got out of her vehicle, and helped the elderly man. She signaled to the cars behind her to wait, firmly held the man’s arm, and adjusted her pace to match his slow steps. She repeatedly positioned herself between him and the traffic to shield him and ensure his safety.

Seeing the woman assisting the elderly man, the drivers behind waited patiently for about four minutes.

With her help, the elderly man successfully made it across the road, and the woman then returned to her car and drove off.
