A schoolboy jumped for joy and screamed with excitement when he received a new bicycle as a graduation gift.

Footage shows Khalil Caimo Cardino, 12, walking into the living room before his family shouted 'surprise.'

Khalil was overjoyed, letting out a high-pitched shout as he clapped his hands and danced around the room.

The youngster then hugged his father while his grandfather wore a garland around his neck, to mark his transition form primary school to comprehensive, or middle school.

Khalil delightedly rode his new mountain bike while his relatives cheered for him on April 15.

His mum, Beverly Grace, said: 'We only celebrated at home with our family. He had been asking us for a bicycle.

'He saves some money for his allowance but it still was not enough to buy a bike so his father and I decided that we get one for him.'
