CLOSE- UP SHOT OF ALBANIAN AND ITALIAN FLAGSDURRES, ALBANIA - MAY 9: The 108th edition of the Giro d’Italia, one of cycling’s most prestigious races, kicked off in Durres, Albania on Friday, May 9. Cyclists covered a total distance of 160 kilometers, finishing the first leg in Tirana. More than 180 riders from across the globe took part, with the event launched amid strong public support and tight security. The Giro’s presence in Albania will continue over the next two days, with the second stage set to take place in Tirana on May 10, followed by the third stage in the southern city of Vlore on May 11.
