This is the heartwarming moment a mother was surprised when her daughter came home after six years for her birthday - making her wish come true.

The mum was given a party by her children and told them her only desire for the special day was to see her eldest daughter.

Footage shows the emotional parent surrounded by her loved ones with her favourite dishes and a cake on the dining table in Pangasinan, the Philippines.

She said: 'I hope she comes home, I hope to be with her.'

After saying her wish, everyone sang her a song before her daughter appeared beside her with a bouquet of flowers.

The pair hugged and she blew her candle, still sobbing from the unexpected reunion on May 5.
