Dog tied to auto and dragged, police took strict action in Kasna, Uttar Pradesh
In Greater Noida's Kasna police station area, An auto driver is seen dragging a dog tied with a rope with his auto. The video of the incident was recorded by a person sitting in a car coming from behind and share with Police.
Kasna police station acted swiftly and arrested the accused auto driver Nitin. Police registered a case against the accused under Animal Cruelty Act and other relevant sections and he was produced in court.
During interrogation, accused Nitin said that the dog was his pet, which he was taking in the auto. He had tied the dog with a rope and kept it in the auto, but on the way, the dog jumped out of the auto and kept dragging him. The accused claims that he did not know about this immediately.
In this case, the Kasna police station in-charge said that the incident is extremely sensitive. The accused has been arrested and the case is being investigated. Any kind of cruelty to animals will not be tolerated.
