Police hunt three Brits who 'fled to Bali after stabbing French tourist at bar in Thailand'
Police are hunting three British tourists who allegedly stabbed a Frenchman in a chaotic brawl at a bar in Thailand.
Astonishing footage shows the knife fight unfolding at the Nomad Beach Club on the Ibiza-like island of Phuket on May 11.
One British woman in a black dress battled to pull away a thug as her friend shouted 'Rory... Rayon's on him', and her cleavage spilt out of her top - all while holding a suspected laughing gas balloon.
Shockingly, the Brit in all-white clothes returned and stamped on the head of French tourist Jugurtha Nubel Khaleche, 23, as he lay prone on the ground.
A brave security guard eventually broke up the attack.
Police arrived after receiving a report at 4 am, but the Brits had already left the scene. They found Jugurtha lying on the ground as he bled from a stab wound on the left side of his torso.
Medics administered first aid and rushed him to the Thalaong Hospital, where he is now in stable condition. They said they were waiting for his X-ray results to see if he had suffered injuries to his internal organs.
Officers are now hunting for the three British men, who they identified as Emilio Armani Bozzo, 34, Rory Billy Colhoun, 33, and Rayon Stanley Joseph Hamilton Craig, 28, along with the women.
Police Colonel Ekkarat Plaiduang, superintendent of Choeng Thale Police Station, said the trio were drunk when they picked a fight with the younger holidaymaker.
They allegedly followed him outside the venue before attacking him, with one of them pulling a knife out of his pocket.
Police Colonel Ekkarat added: 'On May 13, our investigation team reviewed CCTV footage and a bystander's video which clearly captured the suspects' physical features.
'As they were fleeing into a Mazda 2 car, one perpetrator dropped a black iPhone containing a DTAC SIM card registered to Mr Emilio Armani Bozzo, a 35-year-old British national whose appearance matched the footage.
'Witnesses at the scene later confirmed he was one of the three suspects.'
The Phuket Immigration Office said Emilio had already flown to Bali later the same day with the other two Brits.
Police said they were collecting evidence to request an arrest warrant.
Colonel Ekkarat added: 'This was a very violent attack. A knife was involved, which makes it much more serious. We will interview the victim again and wait for a report on his condition.
'If there is an arrest warrant, the suspects will be arrested if they ever return to Thailand or transit through the country.'
The once-pristine island of Phuket has been marred by over-tourism as the Thai government implements a visa-free scheme to boost revenue following the barren pandemic years.
The island saw 800,000 foreign visitors last year alone.
However, angry locals claim the push for tourist dollars has attracted crowds of 'low-quality' visitors. There are also fears that the island has become an enclave of criminal activity, with police unable to control street fights and more organised ruffians setting up rackets among local businesses.
Phuket officials said they are now implementing tighter immigration controls and screening processes amid a wave of drug-related crimes and illegal activities on the island.
