TAHOLAH, Wash. — U.S. Coast Guard aircrews from Air Station Astoria rescued four men from a large, empty water tower on May 13 after they fell more than 60 feet and were unable to walk.

The aircrews hoisted the injured individuals one-by-one in a coordinated aerial rescue operation.

Video shared by the Coast Guard shows the dramatic effort to extract the men from the structure safely.

All four were transported for medical evaluation. The cause of the fall remains under investigation.
