Dozens of homes damaged by tornado in Bennett
A powerful tornado damaged dozens of homes in Bennett.
Footage captured the funnel-shaped weather phenomenon touching down in a field just behind a residential area on May 18.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office responded promptly with deputies, emergency management personnel, and other resources to assess the situation.
At least 17 homes were reportedly damaged. Power remained out in the area, with no estimated time for restoration.
Public Works began delivering non-potable water to support livestock in the affected region.
No injuries have been reported following the severe weather event.
