This is the dramatic moment a brave motorcycle delivery rider turned snake wrangler to catch a cobra lurking in the patio of a house.

The doting man successfully contained the 5ft feisty snake lounging in the veranda in Chonburi, Thailand.

He recalled seeing the terrified homeowner on the porch calling for help to remove the venomous reptile from the house.

Footage shows him dodging the snake's strikes as he positions a bucket toward it on May 19.

Moments later, he managed to trap the cobra by pinning it down with the lid while placing the container in front of the snake.

The animal then slithered inside, and he quickly shut the lid to secure it.

No one was reportedly harmed during the encounter.

The snake was reportedly released back into the forest, away from residential areas, to prevent future encounters.
