This is the shocking moment a man riding a modified three-wheeler motorcycle toppled off the side of a road.

Dashcam footage shows the rider in a yellow raincoat manoeuvring along the outer lane of the curved motorway at Waimu Mountain in Keelung, Taiwan.

Moments later, the driver lost control of the vehicle, swerving off the highway and crashing into the barricade before being flung out of the trike on May 28.

He was seen tumbling onto the grassy slope, while the three-wheeler continued to accelerate downhill, eventually crashing into a roadside wall.

A family travelling behind the victim immediately stopped and rushed to help the rider out of the ditch.

In another clip, the locals were seen running towards the damaged motorcycle, while the injured man limped behind them, visibly in pain.

Local media reported that the rider suffered no serious injuries but complained of body aches from the fall. His vehicle was reportedly not badly damaged from the impact.
