Los Angeles, United States - June 06, 2025 06/05/2025 11:03 pm GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are investigating a reported rape that occurred late Thursday night at a local park. The incident was first reported to 911 shortly after 11 p.m. as a rape in progress involving an unconscious girl at Skyline Ranch Park, located in the 18300 block of Skyline Ranch Road. Deputies arrived at the scene and found the girl semiconscious behind a picnic table. One man was reportedly detained at the park in connection with the incident. The victim was transported to a nearby trauma center in unknown condition. Deputies were seen collecting and bagging evidence at the scene as part of their investigation. As of midnight Friday, authorities confirmed the case is early in the investigative phase, but is being investigated as a sex crime.
