This was the moment an unusually large venomous red-bellied black snake was captured inside a work shed at a home.

Daniel May, 34, from Narellan snake catcher, was called to the location in Rossmore, New South Wales, Australia, to remove the snake but was shocked to find the reptile was far larger than expected.

According to Daniel, red-bellied black snakes typically measure around three to four feet in length.

This one, however, was close to six feet long and as thick as a Coke can.

After carefully attempting to remove the snake, Daniel managed to pull it out from behind a fridge using his bare hands and safely deposit it into a black cloth bag.

"It was definitely the first time I've seen a six-foot red-bellied black snake," Daniel said."
