An Israeli air strike damaged the home of a nuclear scientist in Iran.

Footage shows the residence of Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari, a faculty member at Iran's Nuclear Engineering Faculty, reduced to rubble in the aftermath of the strike.

Firefighters were seen conducting search operations to recover the body of Parsa, 25, a soldier who had returned home on leave.

Local media reported that over 70 people were killed and more than 320 injured in the attacks, including senior military commanders, six nuclear scientists, civilians, and children.

Iranian authorities confirmed multiple fatalities, prompting the country to launch 100 drones in retaliation.

Israel reportedly targeted several nuclear and military facilities in a series of early morning strikes, with additional attacks later destroying dozens of launchers and military sites in Tabriz.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed revenge, warning Israel of a 'bitter and painful' fate and stating that Iran's armed forces would not leave the attack unpunished.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation targeted Iran's nuclear and missile infrastructure, specifically damaging underground components of the Natanz facility, including centrifuge halls and electrical systems.

Israel claimed the strike significantly disrupted Iran's nuclear weapons development.

Iranian officials stated that radioactive material at Natanz had been contained and no casualties occurred at the site.

Later that day, Israel announced further strikes on Iran's surface-to-surface missile systems.
