The convoy, called the "Honor Convoy to Break the Gaza Blockade," departed from Halba in northern Lebanon and first arrived in the capital, Beirut. Here, other activists joined the convoy, which is expected to reach Egypt via Syria and Jordan. The convoy, with more than 40 activists, will go to Egypt to participate in the Global Gaza March. Activists from around the world had already begun gathering in Cairo, Egypt’s capital, for the Global Gaza March. Activists aiming to break the blockade on Gaza plan to reach the Rafah Border Crossing on June 15. On June 11, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that visits to the city of Arish, near the Gaza Strip border in Egypt, and the Rafah Border Crossing would only be possible with prior official approvals.
