Chaos ensued at a popular waterfall in Mussoorie, northern India, on June 14.

The incident occurred at Kempty Falls when a snake glided across the water's surface sending a large crowd of tourists fleeing in a panicked state.

Mayank Sharma, who captured the video of the event, stated that he had gone to Kempty Falls for a trip and was enjoying himself under the waterfall. Suddenly, a snake fell into the water from above the falls. Luckily, it didn’t fall on any tourist but directly into the water. One of the tourists caught the snake and placed it outside the water.

However, when someone tried to scare it away with a stick, the snake went back into the water. Eventually, one of the tourists held the snake by its head and released it into the nearby forest. No one was injured during the incident.
