Safari park leopard steals flip-flop from pickup truck
This is the amusing moment a safari park leopard stole a flip-flop from a pickup truck.
A family had visited an open zoo zone to get a closer look at the animals in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.
While they were parked in the area, the curious feline suddenly leapt onto the back of their vehicle on June 17.
The wildcat then snatched one of the white shoes left in the cargo bed and quickly jumped off.
A woman on board screamed frantically and burst into tears when she realised the big cat had taken her favourite sandal.
Meanwhile, the leopard lay down on the grass to play with the stolen footwear, treating it like a toy.
Moments later, it continued to roll around on the ground, seemingly enjoying the footwear.
Leopards are known for their curious and playful nature, especially in captivity or semi-wild settings. They use play to develop hunting skills, particularly when young, but adults may also exhibit playful behaviour when stimulated.
