Woman arrested on suspicion of child neglect after baby boy dies in Bartley Green, Birmingham
A 37-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a baby boy died following a 'medical emergency' in a terraced home on Culford Drive in the Bartley Green area of Birmingham on Wednesday 25th June.
On Thursday, the home was guarded by 2 PCSO's front and back and detectives entered the property and conducted door-to-door enquiries.
Whilst inside the property, which had front door damage from being broken down, a detective examined a baby monitor camera on the front living room window.
Child curtains could be seen in the upstairs windows.
The woman was arrested following the incident which was reported to have happened around 4.30pm.
Less than 30 metres away is the Kiddies World Day Nursery and Kids Club.
