A glass roof collapsed at Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain, prompting a swift response from security and airport staff.

Footage shows construction debris scattered across the floor in the arrivals lounge on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 24.

The area was promptly cordoned off at around 4:30 pm by security and airport personnel.

Spanish airport authority AENA told local media: 'People in charge of the airport are already analysing what happened in order to adopt the appropriate measures and to determine responsibilities if necessary.'

No injuries were reported, and airport operations continued without disruption.

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is the only commercial airport on the island of Mallorca, Spain. It is the country's third busiest airport, especially crowded during the summer holiday season.
