Valencia, Spain - June 27, 2025 A woman was saved by National Police officers in a Valencia restaurant. The 55-year-old suffered a sudden cardiorespiratory arrest on Tuesday afternoon. Around 5:30 p.m., a man rushed to the Abastos district police station in a panic. He reported that a woman in a nearby restaurant was struggling to breathe and had collapsed. Three officers from the station’s security and citizen assistance team responded immediately. They found the woman on the floor, semi-conscious, with severe breathing difficulties and unable to speak. The officers quickly applied first aid protocols, monitoring her pulse. As her condition worsened, she lost consciousness, stopped breathing, and had no pulse. They began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) right away. After several minutes of effort, the officers successfully restored the woman’s consciousness. The police kept her stable until medical services arrived. Paramedics then took her to a hospital for further observation. The rapid response and effective CPR by the officers were crucial in saving her life. Their actions highlight the importance of first aid training for emergency personnel.
