Nashville Officer Avoids Collision, Highlights Motorcycle Safety Reminder
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is urging drivers to “Look Twice, Save a Life” after a Traffic Division supervisor narrowly avoided a collision when a driver failed to yield during a patrol shift.
Motorcycles are often difficult to see, especially at intersections with obstructed views. Officers are reminding motorists to wait until they can clearly see oncoming traffic, scan for all roadway users — including motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians — and proceed with caution.
The department shared the message to promote awareness and prevent future roadway incidents.
