Harry Potter superfan shows off collection in her spare bedroom
A Harry Potter superfan showed off her expensive collection sitting in her spare bedroom.
Marie Eugenie Le Lay, 31, also known as Zom, had built herself her own version of the ‘Room of Requirement' where she keeps all of her favourite merchandise from the famous movie and book series in Bangkok, Thailand.
Footage shows Zom giving a tour of the cosy room filled with wooden cabinets that housed the special trinkets amounting to more than one million THB (22,389 GBP) that she collected from shops around the world, mostly from the US.
Aside from small model figures depicting scenes from the movie franchise, she also owns a life-size replica of the Nimbus 2000 broom, which costs 14,000 THB (313 GBP), along with pricey dolls of the mischievous trio, a Hogwarts robe costume, the Sorting Hat, and several others that would delight any Potterhead.
Marie said: ‘It used to be a messy storage room, but now it has turned into my magic room with all my Harry Potter collection.'
The J K Rowling fan covered the walls with 10,200 THB (230 GBP) of wallpaper mimicking the 'Marauder's Map' detailing the campus grounds of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The Harry Potter series is a collection of seven fantasy novels written by British author J K Rowling. It is one of the best-selling book series in history, with more than 500 million copies sold worldwide, translated into 80 languages and adapted into eight films.
Rowling has gained new fans in recent years for her defence of women.
