An office lunch order ended in a soggy mess when several fizzy drinks spilled inside a delivery bag.

Teacher Mark Jugar and his colleagues purchased meals from McDonald's through a food delivery app in Cavite, the Philippines.

However, when their takeout arrived at Emmanuel Resurreccion Congressional Integrated High School, the cola beverages had splattered inside the transparent plastic bag, drenching the food.

Despite the mishap, the employees remained in good spirits, smiling as Mark carried the meals to the office on June 26.

Mark said: 'Our Department Head generously treated us to a free lunch, which we ordered online.

'When the rider arrived, all the drinks had unfortunately spilled. He immediately apologised, and we completely understood—accidents like that can happen to anyone.'
