All the staff are dwarves at this restaurant in the Philippines
Tourists were amazed by a unique restaurant in the Philippines - that only employs dwarves.
Queenel Obedea and her husband were stunned when they visited the cheekily-named Hobbit Tavern on the popular Boracay Island.
They were expecting a fantasy theme based on the popular Tolkien novel, but instead were welcomed by dozens of lilliputian people on March 9.
Footage shows employees in aprons taking orders and handing out bills. Some workers can be seen chatting as they take their breaks.
Western holidaymakers were also seen enjoying dinner in the nipa hut–style open-air building, with live music in the background completing the cosy, laid-back island ambience.
Queenel said: 'The food there was 100/10. The servers are so cute and so friendly. This was a one-of-a-kind island adventure we won't forget.'
Although perhaps politically incorrect by Western Standards, the Hobbit Tavern said it prides itself on giving people with dwarfism the chance to work.
The restaurant was founded with a 'vision to create a welcoming space where locals and visitors can enjoy good food, drinks, and live music, while also giving people with dwarfism the opportunity to thrive'.
