Los Angeles, United States - July 13, 2025 07/13/2025 12:50 am GMT-0700 VERMONT SQUARE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles firefighters and police officers from the 77th Division responded to reports of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Figueroa Street. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle that had crashed into two parked cars, with parts of a bicycle scattered across the roadway just south of the intersection on Figueroa Street. Firefighters discovered the bicyclist pinned beneath one of the vehicles. They extricated the victim, who was later pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital; their condition is currently unknown. No further details are available at this time.
