Indian Snake Fair 2025
The Nag Panchami fair of Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar is famous all over the world. In the village Singhiyaghat here, children, old and young all perform on the auspicious occasion of Nag Panchami fair by keeping snakes in their hands, neck and mouth. There are also bites on the tongue and fingers. This 300 years old tradition is still alive among the people. It is believed that nothing happens even if a snake bites on this day. For example, you can see that the snake is biting of Bhagat's tongue and again biting on his finger, but still it is standing fearlessly. Behind it there is a group of thousands of snakes.
