Dorset Council Tree Surgeon Workers Show Off Their Carving Skills When They Removed Damaged Tree

Dorset County Council workers Kieran Baxter and Jack Masters appear to be carving a new artistic path with their arboreal job.

After having to remove a  large Horse Chestnut tree that was of concern to the council and local residents.  Kieran and Jack not only cut it down and made it safe but also created an intricate and elegant carving of an owl.

The work of art has gone down really well with the local community. Who have praised the work which was all made with the use of their chain saws and other tools.

This is their second such carving and likely to be a number more to appear around the county in the coming months.

They have have really enjoyed the chance to show off skills that would never normally be seen.
