US, Los Angeles: Sylmar LAPD Investigates Deadly Hit-and-Run
Los Angeles, United States - July 21, 2025 07/20/2025 09:45 pm GMT-0700 SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian occurred around 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Polk Street and DeGarmo Avenue in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the scene and shut down Polk Street in both directions to conduct a full investigation. Authorities are searching for the driver involved, who fled the scene without rendering aid. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
