Attempted Murder Arrests after two men stabbed each other in Cradley Heath
West Midlands Police and forensic officers investigated the scene of a double stabbing on Cradley Heath High Street on Sunday 3rd evening.
Two men aged 22 and 42 both stabbed each-other in the Sandwell area of the West Midlands.
Officers have since arrested the injured men on suspicion of attempted murder of each other.
A shop where the attack happened was littered with first aid and clothing.
Small areas of blood were also visible on the floor.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: 'We were called to reports of a stabbing on High Street in Cradley Heath at 8.17pm.
'We sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor with critical care paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
'On arrival, crews found a man with life-threatening injuries.
'After receiving advanced trauma care from ambulance staff, he was conveyed to hospital via land ambulance.'
Police officers cordoned off a large section of the high street.
West Midlands Police released the following statement on their Sandwell Police facebook page: 'Two men have been arrested after disorder in Cradley Heath.
'We were called at around 8.20pm last night (3 Aug) to High Street.
'A 42-year-old man was found with a stab wound. 'We then received a second call that a 22-year-old man had been found with stab injuries nearby.
'Both men were taken to hospital for treatment and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
'They have both been arrested on attempted murder and will be questioned in due course.
'Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting 3908 of 3 Aug.'
