Storyline: Technology trends including artificial intelligence (AI) are being showcased and discussed at the ongoing 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province. The fair opened on Monday and will last through Thursday, with a series of investment promotion activities scheduled to be held. This year's CIFIT, themed "Join Hands with China, Invest in the Future," centers on three subjects of "Invest in China, " "China's Investment" and "International Investment". With an exhibition area spanning approximately 120,000 square meters, the four-day event features more than 70 investment-themed activities and over 100 roadshows, attracting the participation of delegations from over 120 countries and regions. Artificial intelligence is a key topic of discussion at the Future Investment Conference 2025, part of this year's CIFIT. With a focus on the latest global investment trends, guests delved into the impact of rapid advances in new technologies and evolving industrial policies on international investment and global production networks. They expressed hope for deepening cooperation on fostering new quality productive forces, and jointly building an open, collaborative, and shared global innovation ecosystem.
