Nagpur, India - September 09, 2025 Nagpur Empress Mill Wall Collapse: 100-year-old wall collapsed, 4 cars buried, 2 girls injured Maharashtra Nagpur Empress Mill Wall Collapse: Late on Sunday night, the 100-year-old wall of the Empress Mill premises in front of Marwari (cloth) chawl on Santra Market Road in Nagpur suddenly collapsed with a bang. The incident is reported to have happened around 11:35 pm. On hearing the echo of the loud explosion, the nearby citizens came out of their houses in panic. The wall that fell was about 15 feet high and 50 feet long. Four cars were buried under its debris, out of which two cars were completely damaged. Two young women passing by also got caught in the wall collapse. However, they suffered only minor injuries and were rescued safely with the help of local people in time.
