This is the shocking moment a boundary wall collapses, burying parked cars outside a mill in India.

Footage shows motorcycles casually passing by on a street in central Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Sunday evening, September 7.

Moments later, the large wall suddenly gave way without warning at around 11:23 pm, narrowly missing a rider and his passenger.

The retaining wall, located beside Marwari Chawl in the Empress Mill area, was reportedly 136 years old. Built in 1889 during the Tata Group's establishment of the mill, it stood approximately 19ft high and 50ft long, made of lime and bricks.

At least four cars were damaged, and a concrete slab covering a nearby drain also collapsed.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) commissioner Abhijeet Chaudhari visited the site to assess the damage. He instructed officials to issue a notice to the current property owner and ordered the demolition of the remaining unstable sections.

In a separate incident on July 3, a wall collapsed in another part of Maharashtra, pulling four motorcycles into a sinkhole. Preliminary reports suggested that ongoing excavation work had destabilised the ground, causing the structure to give way.

Locals have blamed the builder for negligence and are demanding official action.

No casualties were reported in either incident.
