This is the amusing moment a motorist spotted two cats rocking cowboy hats, with one even sporting glasses, while riding on a scooter.

Onlooker Stephen Mamusung noticed the rider with his motionless white cat sitting comfortably at the front of the vehicle, while its sibling rode pillion with a passenger on a busy road.

Footage shows the white kitty, dressed in a striped shirt and cowboy hat, completely zoned out and not moving a muscle in Phuket, Thailand, on September 7.

The moggy's companion, wearing rimless glasses and a checkered shirt, was happily petted by the woman sitting behind.

Stephen initially thought the still feline was a doll and was stunned when he discovered it was alive.

He said: 'I was shocked to realise it was a real cat because it stayed so still and didn't even blink.'

A Stetson is a wide-brimmed cowboy hat, originally made by the John B. Stetson company in the 1860s. The hats became iconic for cowboys, ranchers, and, law enforcement officers in some regions.
