Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to reports of a pedestrian on the I-10 just south of Warner Road who was struck by a vehicle. Troopers arrived and located a beige KIA sedan that had struck a pedestrian at a high rate of speed, causing the windshield to shatter. The reason the pedestrian was on the interstate has not been confirmed. Firefighters responded to the location and attempted to render aid to the victim, but ultimately pronounced them deceased at the scene. Troopers closed the westbound I-10 and diverted all traffic to exit at Warner Road as they conducted their investigation into the crash.
