Los Angeles, United States - September 13, 2025 09/13/2025 02:03 am GMT-0700 POMONA, Calif. – Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and officers from the Pomona Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an apartment fire in the 700 block of North East End Avenue. The fire quickly spread to several other units within the complex. First responders began evacuating residents from nearby apartments to ensure everyone was safely evacuated. Neighbors joined in the effort, assisting each other in evacuating family members and pets. One resident reported helping her family escape through a bedroom window from the bottom apartment. As of now, it is unclear if any residents have been transported to hospitals or how many apartment units have been damaged by the fire.
