This is the shocking moment a rider spotted a snake emerging from his motorcycle handlebars while manoeuvring on the road.

Patiphan Surasen noticed the baby Copperhead Rat Snake crawling out of his vehicle in Kalasin, Thailand.

Footage shows the motorist riding the two-wheeler with only his right hand gripping the handlebars as the reptile subtly wriggled out on September 12.

Patiphan said: 'I parked on the roadside and let it slide down the vehicle before continuing on the road.'

The Copperhead Rat Snake is a non-venomous, medium-sized snake native to Southeast Asia that preys on rodents, birds, and eggs and often lives near human settlements.
