Monkey Mob Attacks Family Riding Scooter in Hapur, Disturbing Incident Caught on CCTV
In Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, the menace of monkeys attacking people on the streets continues to rise. A frightening incident was recently recorded on CCTV in Vivek Vihar colony of Hapur Municipal area, where a group of monkeys suddenly attacked a family of three riding a scooter.
The family—a woman, her child, and a young man—were traveling through the colony around 4:30 PM on September 23rd when the monkeys ambushed them. To escape the attack, they abandoned their scooter and ran toward a nearby house, managing to open the door and seek shelter inside.
However, the monkeys surrounded the woman and her child outside, aggressively attacking them and preventing them from entering the house. The young man was able to get inside, but the woman and child were repeatedly targeted from multiple sides. The woman struggled to protect herself and her child while finally managing to enter the open house.
Even inside the house, the monkey mob continued to chase and try to attack them. The woman attempted to shoo the monkeys away, but they remained aggressive. Only after taking refuge in the unfamiliar house did the family’s lives get saved.
The entire alarming episode was captured by the CCTV camera installed at the house, leaving local residents deeply disturbed. Despite numerous complaints, authorities have so far been unable to control the increasing threat posed by monkeys in the area.
