The International Committee of the Red Cross continues to coordinate with Islamic authorities to resume regular Red Cross visits, including the Red Cross teams, to reach all Palestinian detainees wherever they are held—whether in investigation centers, camps, detention places, or prisons. This also includes the Red Cross doctor, who ensures these detainees have the right to receive medical care. Furthermore, efforts are ongoing to communicate with their families and deliver news, ensuring these individuals are kept in good health conditions.” 5. ICRC VEHICLE AT HOSPITAL YARD 6. The freed individuals were transferred through the Kissufim border crossing in vehicles belonging to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). They were then taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza for necessary medical checks. Medical sources at the hospital described the physical and psychological condition of the released detainees as "difficult”, according to WAFA News Agency. They attributed the poor health of the individuals to what they termed "arbitrary measures" and harsh conditions in Israeli detention facilities. The release was marked by emotional scenes outside the hospital as families reunited with their relatives. This release is part of a pattern where Israeli authorities periodically free groups of detainees. Writing by Sibel Uygun
