US, Los Angeles: Canoga Park Firefighters Tackle Garage Blaze in Condominium

Los Angeles, United States - October 04, 2025 10/03/2025 10:00 pm GMT-0700 CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A fire broke out in a two-story condominium after flames erupted in the garage, quickly spreading throughout the residence. Firefighters arrived on the scene and swiftly entered offensive mode to tackle the large flames engulfing the garage area. A total of 42 firefighters responded, locating and extinguishing the blaze in approximately 26 minutes. There were no injuries reported. The firefighters successfully prevented the fire from extending to the second floor or reaching an adjacent unit. The condominium's occupants have five cats; firefighters were able to locate three of them and continue to search for the remaining two, whose conditions remain unknown at this time. The building has been classified as updated two-story townhomes over a garage.
