Bizarre moment fish leaps onto lap of toddler posing next tank with grandmother
On October 11 in Sanmenxia, Henan Province, a grandfather was filming his granddaughter admiring the fish in the seafood section of a supermarket when an unexpected, and hilarious, moment occurred.
As the little girl stood by the tank, completely absorbed in watching the fish swim, a large fish weighing several pounds suddenly leapt out of the water and smacked her squarely in the face.
According to the girl’s mother, she didn’t cry or seem frightened, just stood there stunned for a moment before finding the whole thing rather funny. The grandfather then calmly scooped the fish off the floor with a net and returned it to the tank.
