President Trump arrives in South Korea to YMCA and gun salute
President Donald Trump arrived in South Korea and was greeted by a gun salute and a brass band performing the hit song YMCA.
The US leader landed at Gimhae International Airport in Busan on October 29.
He was welcomed by General Xavier T. Brunson, Commander of the United Nations Command, United States Forces Korea, and Combined Forces Command.
The visit reportedly focused on trade relations, investment opportunities, and efforts to maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.
The disco hit 'YMCA' was released in 1978 by the American group Village People, written by Jacques Morali and Victor Willis.
During Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign, the upbeat tune gained renewed attention after being frequently played at his rallies across the country. The music became a signature closing song, with Trump often seen dancing to it on stage, which drew both amusement and criticism from the public.
