This is the heartstopping moment a cyclist narrowly avoided falling under the wheels of a truck.

Dashcam footage showing a rear video captured the lorry manoeuvring along a lane as locals rode their bikes and scooters on its side in Anhui, China.

Moments later, a young girl, distracted while looking towards a nearby field as she cycled with her family, bumped into her sibling in front of her on October 24.

The collision caused her to lose balance and veer towards the moving truck. However, she managed to swerve away just in time, narrowly avoiding being run over by the heavy goods vehicle.

Meanwhile, the quick-thinking truck driver immediately stopped on the road.

The children then continued to pedal as if nothing had happened.
