Vadim Badeha, chief executive of United Aircraft Corporation, announced on Russian state television channel Pervy Kanal that a foreign country has already received the first two Su-57 fighter jets.
Badeha added that the planes have entered combat service, are performing effectively, and have left the buyer satisfied, but provided no details on the recipient country.
Certain reports in the Russian media point to Algeria as the possible purchaser.
The UAC claims the aircraft has proven effective in real combat scenarios.
The Su-57 is noted for its stealth, supermaneuverability, and a combination of fighter and strike capabilities.
Known by its NATO codename "Felon," the multirole fifth-generation fighter jet is designed to engage air, ground, and naval targets.
